I started watching this show because of Martin (and I wanted more Michael Sheen in my life after Good Omens), and he's so fantastic. I really enjoy how he's simultaniously the loving father, and yet he killed at least 23 people.

I really love him manipulating Malcolm, I especially enjoy twists where they find out that Martin is manipulating everything.

Okay super dark prompt is super dark please take this as a warning: Martin gets upset because Malcolm isn't the perfect heir. So he needs a new heir. But the only person right for this job is Malcolm because Martin is obsessed. Martin escapes, kidnaps Malcolm and impregnates him. How is up to you: A/B/O? Unexplained? Body horror with Martin performing surgery on Malcolm to give him a womb? How does Malcolm react? I know abortion is a tricky topic but I am fine with it if you want to go that route. Or Malcolm being forced to carry the baby as material evidence (I don't see a reasonable court making that ruling, but then again are courts really reasonable?)

I wasn't 100% sure I would love this show but it is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love how torn Malcolm is between loving his father and remembering his father as a good father, and also the realization that Martin is a serial killer and manipulator.

For this fandom I have no interest in Fic focusing on Malcolm as a child. Generally, I remember to list this as a DNW but I figured it was worth expanding on it. I am fine with general flashbacks to his childhood, similar to the show, but I don't want the past to be the focus of the fic. I am fine with underage Malcolm/Martin (from any level of non-con to dubcon on the condition that 11-year-olds can't consent) having happened in the past, and vague flashbacks to how those sort of shippy moments went is fine, but I really do not kink on Underage and do not wish to read it.

I am usually a little behind (I watch on Hulu but I can only watch on the family TV which means I have to have time on the family TV when no one else is around which never happens) so please avoid major spoilers or new characters if possible.

If we matched on a fandom matching only exchange, I do not ship Dani/Malcolm, or Edrisa/Malcolm.
Gil Arroyo/Malcolm Bright
Oh my OTP. The moment Gil was introduced I started shipping them, and that ship has not yet faded. It's like daddy kink without the incest? (not that incest is a problem, next up is Martin/Malcolm after all).

I feel like Gil is in some ways the stability that Malcolm needs to drag him away from the edge. In some ways he is Malcolm's father figure, and yet he is polar oposite of Martin.
