Aladdin/Jafar
And then we have the dirty bad ship. I’m all for Jafar tying up Aladdin and using his body. Actually that’s really what I want for this ship. I started shipping it the moment Jafar tied him up and dragged him out into the desert to go to the cave of wonders, and it really amplified when Jafar had him tied to the chair. I enjoyed Jafar’s attempts to be all “we’re the same you and I,” and how quickly he went to “kill Aladdin.”

Aladdin
Honestly Aladdin was the first live action disney movie I was excited to see. I dragged my BFF with me to the theater even though she had little interest in seeing it and it was fantastic. I loved the costumes and the set. I appreciated the updating of Jasmine’s involvement in the final scene (the original animated “Jasmine attempts to seduce Jafar to distract him” was really cringy.) I enjoyed the cannon ships as well, so if you need background couples feel free to stick with them.
Aladdin/Genie
They would actually be rather good for each other. It’s moments where they realize they’re friends that make me really ship it. Especially when Genie is talking about how Aladdin is breaking his heart right after he saves Aladdin. I would appreciate no Jasmine or Dalia bashing if Aladdin/Genie is end game, please!

Genie sex magic! Aladdin accidentally uses one of his wishes on sex (something like “I wish I wasn’t so horny”while holding the lamp). Maybe Genie doesn’t make him waste a wish on it, though.
Jasmine/Dalia
Dalia was an A+ addition to the cannon. I love her awkwardness and think that she could really make Jasmine happy, as she has her best intentions at heart.
