Underage DNW Clarification

Occasionally I request cannons or Original Works pairings that feature underage characters. I am perfectly happy if you're writing a G or T fic for those characters to be their cannon ages. But when we get to heavy romance or sex things I do have some preferences/thoughts. 

 

I prefer ambiguous older teens when underage is required.  I don't want anyone to get trapped up in trying to mention an age. Just saying they're in high school, or almost an adult is good. 

​

I also want to try to explain where underage ships are relevant to my interests, versus where they squick me. I really like characters who are in over their heads, maybe they know what sex is but they haven't really experienced it and their partner has all the power. This tends to be a dynamic found in some of the underage/underage-suggested Original Works pairings. 

​

What I don't like and really squicks me, is descriptions of underage bodies, or direct mentions to the character's age. 

​

The other scenario I like which does require underage is underage xeno character/adult who thinks they're in control. Think something like Teen incubus/Next Door Neighbor. The neighbor thinks he's going to get a little something from this kid, and then the incubus ends up feeding off him instead and taking control. Again for any scenario like this I prefer ambiguous older teen for the xeno character.

Beautiful Landscape

Original work is definitely my jam.  I am here for all the tropey goodness and for characters that can be fucked up with little care.  Bad endings are especially welcome here, or good endings, or really whatever you want. 


A little about my likes for Original works. Setting wise I prefer fantasy or modern over historical or sci-fi. My grasp of history is loose at best, so if you are inspired to go historical my preference would be for something more general - Victorian England, 1920s New York, etc, something that's been done before.

For pairings that don't include character genders baked in my preference runs M/M, dom!F/sub!M, F/F, then dom!M/sub!F. Of course, given the nature of this exchange, I am 500% here for unusual genitalia or perceptions of gender.

For this fandom, I just threw a bunch of things I like in here, and let's see what happens.

  • Male Dragon/man who wanted to steal from his hoard - I love dragons, I love hoards, I love dragons adding people to their hoards.  I love the idea of a dragon punishing the man with his dick, or making the man his treasure that belongs in the hoard. 

  • naga/spelunker party(OW) - Snakes are fun. I would love the naga slowly picking off the party. 

  • Original Male Character/Original Male Monster Character - This is really a catchall, have a freeform you like but it works better for something not on this list? here's your excuse to use it. 

  • Male Gladiator/The Monster He Was Meant to Kill - I love the idea of the rivalry, either the monster beating the gladiator and using him as a reward or even something where they fall in love and refuse to slay. I'm down. 

  • Monster/Knight Who Has Come To Slay It - Very similar to the one above it...

​Look, there are a lot of these, and I don't know what to say about a lot of them. There's going to be a few notes, but that doesn't mean I'm more into those tags than the others. I honestly love them all and am down for any of them. I just don't have thoughts on them all. Like Dolphins: gang rape, I'm here for it, but also it's what it says on the tin, I don't have any more thoughts on it.

  • Naga: Pheromones/Venom changes humans into receptive hosts - I love the idea of a human getting chanced into a receptive host, just give me the body horror, the unusual pregnancy, the - whatever the hell you want, but you get the idea. 

  • Parasitoid Wasp: Eggs Are Laid In Host's Body Where They Develop And Eventually Kill Host - I have a weird fascination with parasitoid wasps, and I would love to see their reproductive cycle acted out in fic, I just need it to be original work where I'm not already attached emotionally to the characters. Go as graphic, or gory as you want. Tramatic ovi, yes, paralytics, yes, being eaten alive by offspring, yes. There is no too far for this. 

  • Plant Monster: deposits seed in mammalian creatures

  • Rabbits: rapid breeding and large litter breeding

  • Rabbits: fast thrusting sex

  • Scorpions: venom makes partner more docile

  • Seahorse: males get pregnant -in case nothing else in this letter gave you the indication - I'm down for mpreg. 

  • Snakes: coiling around mate - I'm very into this, the idea of the mate not being able to get away or move, or even the snake squeezing too tight and chking them? I'm here.

I feel like I should start out by saying I'm 100% here for weird tropey things. I'm not too particular about cannon, or anything, honestly, I've only seen this play once (which is the version the picture is from and you should most definitely check it out if you haven't seen it because it was lovely, it's the 2013 globe version, though I can't find where to stream it.)

When it comes to Shakespearian fandoms I'm not here for high-minded things reminiscent of high school English class.  In Shakespeare's time, I would have been one of the groundlings. I'm here for the dick jokes and I'm okay with that.  When I watch Shakespear I watch with sparknotes open on my phone to read the summary. To that end, and the reason I'm sharing this, is that if you also are intimidated by Shakespeare and traumatized by high school English class then that's okay, I don't care about historic accuracy, I don't care about high-minded ideals, this is not an essay. You can be a grounding with me, and just make dick jokes. 

Oberon/Puck | Robin Goodfellow

Puck is just kind of my ideal character. I like that he's a prankster, and considered weird by the other fae. I like how close he and Oberon are that Oberon would trust him to do his dirty work in the play. Speaking over Oberon, I like that he seems willing to indulge Puck, but also reign him in when needed.  And the kiss really helped me to ship it lol.  Given that Oberon is married, even if it is a marriage of conveniences (is itI'm really not sure), I like the idea that Puck is his dirty little secret. 

 

I like the idea that as Fae Operon and Puck would have weird animal features. I really did do my sign up in the last 20 minutes, and aside from Original work this fandom stood out to me as a good choice. I specifically like the idea of deer cross over, but you know what, go wild.

I knew I would like this fandom as soon as I saw an ad for it. I've never consumed Critical Roll, but if you know it and want to allude to some details from it, that's fine.
